First, Director Tom Daccord presented <em>Leadership &amp; School Cultures that Effectively Support 21st Century Learning<\/em> with Patrick Larkin at <a title=\"EduCon\" href=\"http:\/\/educonphilly.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">EduCon 2.5<\/a>. During this session, they discussed how effective leaders nurture school cultures that promote and exercise a vision for conscientious innovation with new learning technologies. The conversation addressed how to develop school cultures where stakeholders share a vision of meaningful technology integration to support 21st Century learning and examined both U.S and Singaporean systems where school administrators provide structured support to develop institutional capacity for systemic reform.<\/p>\n<p>They will continue the conversation in a FREE, live webinar on February 5th at 4:00pm EST. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/edtechteacher.org\/index.php\/teaching-technology\/webinars\" target=\"_blank\">Registration is open!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From Philadelphia, Tom headed to <a href=\"http:\/\/fetc.org\/Events\/Florida-Educational-Technology-Conference\/Home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">FETC<\/a> where he presented <em>5 Keys to Building a Successful iPad Program<\/em> and <em>Assessment 2.0: Assessing Change in Digital Classrooms<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Greg lead iPad workshops at Moses Brown School and for MASCD, and the team worked to confirm <a href=\"http:\/\/ipadsummitusa.org\/full-schedule\/concurrent-session-titles-descriptions\/\" target=\"_blank\">sessions for the upcoming iPad Summit in Atlanta<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We did, however, find one new resource this week:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/videoscribe-hd\/id505464331?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\">VideoScribe HD for iPad<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nUse this to create RSA style videos on an iPad<\/p>\n<p>Tags: <a href=\"http:\/\/groups.diigo.com\/i_pad-for-ett\/bookmark\/tag\/iPad\" target=\"_blank\">iPad<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/groups.diigo.com\/i_pad-for-ett\/bookmark\/tag\/iPads\" target=\"_blank\">iPads<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/groups.diigo.com\/i_pad-for-ett\/bookmark\/tag\/video\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We had a busy week.
