This leads us to <em>App Smashing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>App Smashing Defined:<\/strong> The process of using multiple apps in conjunction with one another to complete a final task or project.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/kulowiectech.blogspot.com\/2013\/02\/app-smashing-part-i.html\" target=\"_blank\">App Smashing: Part I<\/a>, Greg walks through his favorite <em>smash<\/em> where students create a web based timeline to capture their learning, to share a digital portfolio, or to capture an event, era or topic of study. This week, Greg continued the discussion of App Smashing with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/kulowiectech.blogspot.com\/2013\/02\/app-smashing-part-ii-blogging-x.html\" target=\"_blank\">App Smashing Part II: Blogging X ____<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This time we will explore the many ways that students can publish to the web by blogging with the Blogger app. \u00a0However, instead of simply being restricted to the options presented in the app to post only text or images, the smashing will continue and will open up the ability to embed video and audio.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Apps Smashed:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blogger<\/li>\n<li>Vimeo<\/li>\n<li>SoundCloud<\/li>\n<li>Explain Everything (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Garageband (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Smashing Process:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Create a blog with Blogger. \u00a0A new blog can&#8217;t be created in the app, so go to blogger through Safari to create a new blog.<\/li>\n<li>Post a entry to the blog through the blogger app. \u00a0You will notice that there is only an option to insert text and images (camera roll and live photos).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-UAxJLuBscrc\/US1PxuRN-EI\/AAAAAAAAAK8\/A6t-8Rm6v7U\/s1600\/photo+(13).PNG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-UAxJLuBscrc\/US1PxuRN-EI\/AAAAAAAAAK8\/A6t-8Rm6v7U\/s400\/photo+(13).PNG\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Embedding Video:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a screencast in Explain Everything and export the video to the camera roll or shoot video from the camera app.<\/li>\n<li>Upload the video to your Vimeo account from the Vimeo app. (the vimeo app will pull video from the camera roll to upload).<\/li>\n<li>Log into your Vimeo account through Safari &amp; copy the embed code.<\/li>\n<li>Paste the embed code in a blog post through the Blogger app. \u00a0The video will automatically embed when the post is published.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table class=\"tr-caption-container\" style=\"margin-left: auto;
