Remote Learning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">by Tom Daccord<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As COVID-19 spreads in the U.S., schools and districts are looking for ways to administer remote learning in an effort to keep their community safe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To that end, we at EdTechTeacher have compiled a brief list of resources below:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General information<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/community\/schools-childcare\/index.html\">Resources for K-12 Schools and Childcare Programs<\/a> from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).<ul><li>Includes a checklist for Teachers, Parents, and Administrators; FAQs for Administrators; Talking with Children About Corona Virus; and more.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General EdTech:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/wakelet.com\/wake\/fc1be896-0ff1-431d-a3b8-b10febdc3256\">EdTech companies offering FREE support and\/or access to schools affected by COVID19 closures.<\/a><ul><li>A growing collection of edtech companies that are offering free access or support to schools affected by COVID-19.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/wakelet.com\/wake\/c3d246a2-9b7f-4350-922c-8afe2993b013\">Remote Learning Resources, Subscriptions, and Platforms<\/a> Wakelet by Erin Flanagan.<ul><li>An edtech specialist is collecting resources for teachers and schools impacted by coronavirus closings.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GSuite (Google):&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.google\/outreach-initiatives\/education\/distancelearning-covid19\">With school closures, teachers can keep their lessons going remotely<\/a> from Jennie Magiera, Global Head of Education Impact, Google for Education.<ul><li>Google has now enabled up to 250 people on a Hangouts Meet call and live-streaming for up to 100,000 viewers within a&nbsp;
